MusclePilot
A fitness-planning app that builds a personalized workout from the user’s target muscle group.

Context
Designed a fitness-assistance product for independent training to address not knowing what to train for a target muscle, unfamiliar equipment and repetitive routines.
Product Design
Built the core flow from target muscle → exercise recommendation → user selection → today’s workout generation → set-by-set logging → workout summary, with warm-up, main training, stretching, equipment guidance and history modules.
Iteration
Completed the PRD, information architecture and product prototype, then validated the exercise library, defined recommendation rules and built the project MVP.
context
The project focuses on independent gym-goers and the complete experience from choosing a target area and discovering exercises to recording and reviewing a workout.
Help users structure a workout clearly even without a personal trainer.problem
Gym users often face three problems: not knowing what to train for a target muscle, not knowing how to use equipment, and repeating the same movements for too long.
The problem is not only a missing plan, but a missing path that is understandable, selectable and actionable.insight
Users should retain control over exercise selection. The system should support discovery, planning, logging and review rather than make opaque decisions for them.
Recommendations must be explainable, with the final workout confirmed by the user.solution
Built the core flow: target muscle → exercise recommendations → user selection → today’s workout generation → set-by-set logging → training summary.
Connect exercise discovery, workout organization and training history into one loop.
product design
Designed warm-up, main training, stretching, equipment guidance and training history around the core loop, while allowing users to add, remove and reorder exercises.
The system provides structure while keeping room for user adjustment.
ai workflow
The current MVP prioritizes a validated exercise library, explainable recommendation logic and workout-planning rules instead of claiming unverified model capabilities.
Establish reliable exercises and rules first, then expand intelligent capabilities.build
Completed the PRD, information architecture and product prototype, then validated the exercise library, organized recommendation rules and built the project MVP.
Moved from documentation and flows to a demonstrable MVP.results
Completed the product requirements, information architecture, user flow, key screens, exercise recommendation rules and project MVP. Real-user metrics are not yet available.
The current result is a testable product prototype and structured workout logic.
